Godalming Community Store:

Godalming Town Council, in partnership with the Farncombe & Godalming Coronavirus Community Assistance Group, has opened the Community Store at the Wilfrid Noyce Centre (Crown Court Car Park, Godalming) to assist those within our community who find themselves needing a bit of help with some of life’s basics during these unprecedented and difficult times. for further information.


Voluntary Action South West Surrey is working with Waverley & Guildford Borough Councils and the University of Surrey Students’ Union to ensure that vulnerable people who have to self-isolate get the help they need. If you would like to help out then please get in touch so they can connect you with to someone who needs help. People affected may need help with shopping or a chat on the phone to someone. Waverley Stay at Home Directory:

Waverley Borough Council has launched a ‘Stay at Home Directory’ which lists local businesses which have quickly adapted to the current circumstances by changing their product offer and introducing a ‘contactless’ delivery service. This means that deliveries can be left on the doorstep, at an agreed location or even loaded directly into your car via a ‘drive-through’ collection. Other services can be delivered online or even over the phone.  Visit to view the directory.
