Witley Parish Council has allocated funds to help local organisations and groups recover from the coronavirus pandemic (up to a maximum of £500 per application).

Witley Parish Council recognises that there are likely to be many requirements imposed on organisations before they are up and running fully again, so applications for anything to help reach this goal are welcomed.  All applications will be considered on their individual merits.

Examples of how these funds could be used:

  1. To pay for sanitising items and signage needed to ensure your premises is COVID secure.
  2. To arrange for deep clean services prior to reopening/recommencing.
  3. To purchase additional equipment so that users can have their own individual items to use.

Who can apply?

We will consider applications from:

  • Non-profit organisations and groups who manage community spaces based in, or directly serving, the Witley Parish Council area.
  • Groups, clubs, committees, charities or churches (where funding will support activities directly benefitting the wider community) based in, or directly serving, the Witley Parish Council area.
  • You will need to show that you are organised (by having a constitution or rules) and have your own bank account.

We will not consider applications from:

  • Businesses or organisations with a profit-making remit;
  • Individuals

When & how can I apply?

You can apply, using this application form, at any time during the current pandemic whilst funds are still available, after which the scheme will close.

Please email your application to clerk@witley-pc.gov.uk.

You will receive a response within 7 days of submission and funds will be transferred as soon as possible thereafter.
