CIL

The Parish Council receives a share of the funds levied by Waverley Borough Council on large and small housing developments across the parish. We have already started receiving these funds and are allocating them to local infrastructure schemes.

If your non-profit organisation requires funding for capital expenditure and it meets our set criteria, please consider applying for some of these funds. The Funding Conditions and application form can be found in the Application Forms section below.

Grants & Donations

We welcome applications for grants from new or established community associations, cultural, sporting, leisure and charitable organisations for financial assistance towards the capital expenses of the organisation.

Grant applications should be no more than 50% of the cost of the project and should benefit inhabitants of the parish.

We offer small grants of £1000 or less and partnership grants of more than £1000.

Small grant applications can be made at any time of the year.

Partnership grant applications should reach us in November. If approved these will only become payable in the following financial (Council Tax) year.

We also welcome requests for donations from charitable organisations that benefit the residents of the parish.

Witley Charitable Trust

Supporting the community since 1641

The Witley Charitable Trust has been in existence since 1641 and is still actively supporting parishioners by awarding grants to those in need.

Suggestions for grants come mostly from health visitors, district nurses and churches within the (civic) parish of Witley. In recent years the charity has:

• Spent up to £1,700 on Christmas gifts each year, benefiting between 40 and 50 individuals, including families and those living alone; and
• Helped with support for a child to attend a local pre-school.

The charity is run by 6 trustees, of which 2 are appointed by Witley and Milford Parish Council.
